Subject: holy @#$% x_x how can a render take so long?

Yes, I have lights and I just decided to check my shader. I was using as my base the mirror shader from the Magic Mirror package in the Market place (Shadowdale, I believe). Reflect on that is set to 1.00. When you just bring in a reflect at first, it is set at .2000. Which probably would have done better speed wise if I'd checked it before hitting the render button. I was just reading some materials on the gather node and thought, wouldn't it be nice to try that and have the floor reflective too. I haven't messed with P6 much, so I had a duh moment. I was just messing with my custom water material and took out my reflect and refract and added fresnel as suggested somewhere up there and tried a render. Live and learn.
