I'm working on an Eye Candy 4000 and Xenofex review for an article at the 3D Comic Collective... so far I'm truly enjoying the filters... but you'll be able to read more in a week or so at www.3d-cc.com If you have the budget, I doubt you'll regret purchasing eyecandy... if nothing else... you can download the demo and see what the filters would do... two of them even work fully in the demo.
