Actually, if he's already got a skeleton (.cr2 file) created, there's no need to even import the mesh or skeleton at all. Just edit the .cr2 file to point at the original .obj file. Also, related to an earlier comment... there's no need at all that I can think of to ever 'spawn props' to get the figure created - and that's likely where the bloat came from (I'm guessing that the .obj file now has duplicates of every group in it)
