I think that's great if you can paint, but I can't and all cut and paste hair, for me, looks exactly like that's what I did. While some people are very talented at painting and pasting, others of us are hapless. I'm always relieved when I find hair that I can use "out of the box" and render directly in Poser so I don't have to worry about matching light and shadows. It's great that you have artistic talent...I envy you that. I don't and won't ever achieve anything but a clumsy result with postwork.
