Subject: What about Eve? (where is that girl?)

pitklad ( ) posted Fri, 17 February 2006 at 3:49 PM · edited Sat, 23 November 2024 at 2:19 PM

Hello everyone!
I'm working on NeaP4 (Nea with Posette UVS)
The new head will be an alternative geometry so the same head would be able to be as an option to any Posette based figure with just a click!
I am already planning a Posette2003 cr2
And I'm sure I'll do an Eve one, what Eve is the current one?
And where can I get her?
Also is there any other figure based on Posette that uses her head?

Is it possible to load alternative geometry switches on a figure via a pose?
To inject only the code that is needed...
Just wondering...

Try here. Around page 7 on the free stuff. Might be nudity on the site somewhere. :)

The Eve at Arduino is the one most people have I think. I have Eve from Traveler's Morph World 2 circa year 2000? and SENO Eve with P4 Eyes, and two of Arduino's Eve. They seem to all be identical except different morphs and one of Arduino's Latexa has materials for gloves and stockings I think. Thanks for working on this P4 stuff :)

momodot ( ) posted Fri, 17 February 2006 at 8:56 PM

Correction, the SENO Eve has the orginal Posette chest and shoulder grouping.

IMHO the best Eve figure is the one called Latexa, by Plazio. You can find her at www.3dpmr.com (look for a vendor called HR3D).

Thanks Everyone! Where is the Eve by Traveler? I remember someone except MorphWorld also hosted her... This is a face morph for this new NeaP4... The face is identical to Neja but a bit different Still have to work the UVS for various parts...

Which hair figure is it on the pic above ? I don't recognise it and am curious about it :) New face is cute, she's getting less and less similar to original Posette. Great job :-)

The hair are GSHair by Dark Whisper at 3DUniverse without the hat!

The default head face will still be Nea's head, So all Nea morphs will work just fine!
This face will be a Morph to give the new girl character!

One of the all around best Eve characters is Eve V4 by Traveler. It was part of the Morphs World CD #2. If you contact traveler, you may be able to get a copy.

The above image shows some sample characters created using the Eve V4 model. These were created about three years ago.

momodot ( ) posted Sat, 18 February 2006 at 12:38 PM

That is some serious variety from one figure? Good work esp. the petite. Those clothes painted o the texture? The sweater and jeans are great. Can I get them somewhere?

BastBlack ( ) posted Sat, 18 February 2006 at 12:56 PM

Eve is on the MorphWorld CD. bB

pitklad ( ) posted Sat, 18 February 2006 at 1:19 PM

So she is not a free download anymore?
Too bad...I'm sure I've downloaded an Eve from a site last year that said it was the original Eve by Traveller...
I believe she is restributable as soon as she is encoded...
john those are great characters!
As for NeaP4 I wanted to make her younger looking,I'm glad you find her sexy!
I don't like the lips much I'll take her a walk on Wings...

I am pretty sure that: 1. The Arduino Eve is the one used most, it is the one most readily available. 2. That the Arduino Eve is a legal redistribution of the Traveler Morph World 2 Eve with some additional hip/buttock morphs. 3. That ALL Eve characters available are compatible in all ways except the SENO New Eve figures which use the original Posette chest and collars (maybe neck) and also use different eye mapping depending on the version. I have always associated the original Eve with Traveler but SENO mentions Torino. I have always wondered if Vicky followed Eve, that is my impression. I have always wondered if that is why MorphWorld 2 came down.

stahlratte ( ) posted Sat, 18 February 2006 at 6:35 PM

Wish I could help, but I never used any of the Eves. I downloaded Arduinos free P4WWG, and in combination with Yamatos new joints it worked so good I never looked further into the Eves. But thats a great face morph, Pitklad ! I like it. :-) Hmm, so this means that the new remapped head will be able to take Posette textures without stretching ? That would really greatly enhance versatility, as every NEA morph could be used for Posette and vice versa. Dont really know if it is possible to hack the cr2 the way you want, but ent the non-genital hips have their own oject reference in the cr22, complete with an folder adress ? If so, Im sure that adress could be different from the folder that contains the main object, so you could distribute the head only with a new cr2 instead of a complete new object. But Im definitely no cr2 expert. LOL stahlratte

momodot ( ) posted Sat, 18 February 2006 at 7:14 PM

sathlratte, I don't think you would want to give up your Yamato JPs but the apeal of the Eve figures are the great Full Body Morphs more than anything else... putting them in clothes though? Ugh. Is Eve supported by Wardrobe Wizard I wonder. I had done up a set of P4WWG full body morphs which were on my website when I had one but the figure was lost in the sands of time along with my Full Body Morph multi-body type Vicky 1. I had more health and energy back in the twentieth century :) I had weird things on that site... a morphing P2 Nude Woman remapped, the P4 lo figures mapped to the P4 standard textures etc. pitklad, I think if you were to put this Nea head in an Eve it would need to be the SENO New Eve which is just as well since it is the most accessible (no mebership etc.) and you could provide a link to it if SENO did not mind the added bandwidth use.

pitklad ( ) posted Sun, 19 February 2006 at 6:47 AM

I've already hacked the cr2!
And it works fine except some small things I have to work!

The idea is this:
I made the following objects:nea head, eyes and teeth
which will use alternative geometry to load to the default Posette body.
There will be a switch on the head that will load Nea's head, eyes, teeth to Posette.
This means that I will not need to encode a different obj for eve or posette2003,they will use the same .obj I just need to hack their .cr2 to add the switch!
So the download will just need one encoded object for all
All those girls could wear Nea's head!
Valeri-V3 is my proiority right now and then I'll catch NeaP4 and Domus again

:^)

@ momodot that P2 woman with Posette mapping is a very nice idea!

Pitklad - thank you for the hair info ! I have it archived somewhere, but never suspected the hat can be removed without leaving bald spot ^^; Thank you !

Momodot - All of the clothing in the sample image are painted onto the skin texture. It took me a little time, but I found a (Eve V4) texture that has the sweater and the jeans. It looks like I can't attach an image to a renderosity email... so forward your email address and I will send it to you. Oh yeah.. I painted the cloths onto the textures because conforming cloths did not work well on Eve V4.

For some reason, I keep[ posting this link time and time again, but you people keep losing it (Sigh!).  Well here it is again.  This is Eve 4 by Traveler, the BEST of the whole batch.  If you're going to do an Eve, do her.

I don't think you can inject an entire geom swap routine into a cr2 using a pose, but you can swap geometries with a pose.  You can only do it with one body part per pose, but it can be done.  The "Multi Hair" on my site, linked below, uses this technique.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
