Poppi, you say the machine is only three weeks old?....When I got my first computer a number of years ago, I accidentally copied windows to another file. For some reason the machine would then open to the copied windows and it appeared that I had lost everything I had downloaded and uploaded. Once I realized that I was looking at a "fake" windows and removed it, there were all my programs. To this day neither I nor the Gateway people know how I managed to do this..... Scarab
