Subject: Is there some trick to texturing the floor?

Hi Folks! All of this advice is good, but jschoen makes some salient points. One thing you should keep in mind kiru is that default setting for the Ground Plane is an infinite plane. You may not want that in all situations. Strecthing the Box_1 object so that it can serve as a ground, fllor, or rug gives you, IMHO, a bit more versatility in scene building. And you can tweak the transparency of the textures to simulate some nice subsurface effects, such as water, mud, fog, etc. I hardly ever use the default Ground in Poser.
