Nice! Just a couple things. Why only 80 GB disk? They are actually much more expensive per megabyte than a larger disk. For instance, 80GB is around $70 here and 200 GB is $120. Also, I think you should have gone for a FX Quadro instead of FireGL. Finally, why not a DVD burner? You might regret it very soon, when you have to fit everything on 700MB CDs.

LOL, Sure thing Rudy, My wife will understand. Erlik: I have a 200,120 in this machine. Both maxtor 7200/8ms, and a 40 w/same specs. Probably the 200 will be going into the new box. I will be keeping this box for a short while, it has the burner. As far as the video card, I tormented over everything that was out there, I liked both, but the price got me. Eventually I'll be using dual monitors, and will also add an external HD. The smaller items like DVD RW are easy enough to add in later. Mind you, all these expenses need to pass the the highest scrutiny.....My lovely wife. (grin)

Nice setup ICM. Smart move getting that so you can "Upgrade" later.
Just one question i would like to ask, when can i come and start using it.. PS: if you add a dvd burner go for something like the LG GSA-4163B IDE duel layer, it burns both cd and dvd :)

Ordered the new PC & monitor, monitor showed up today. Damn, now I can see things I've never seen before. Ugh, my gallery is screaming "more"! Once the new PC gets here I'll have no choice but to set up a cot in the office. ;) Thanks for everyones input about puters. I'm running the monitor on analog cuz my card isn't equipped for DVI...but the new one is! Shopped & shopped & weighed out the best outfit I could get for the money & time. Also planned so I could upgrade later & add on: dual monitor & a few other items.
