Well, for any PC programmers out there, it's time to come out of your "closet," quit "ignoring" GEAR, and take up the gauntlet that he has thrown down. Should you decide to accept his challehge, then here's a few links to PC Midi SDKs--as if you needed them! http://developer.creative.com/MUSIC/DC_D&H_Music-sfmix.html http://www.steinberg.net/developers/VST2SDKAbout.phtml http://www.sonicfoundry.com/Download/Step2.asp?DID=77 THIS LAST ONE (http://3dmidi.demonews.com/download.asp) IS REALLY NEAT! He has a Midi SDK and also a program, called 3D MiDi, that creates 3D animations from midi files. It also can create scripts to control POV animations. Maybe someone can get it to control Poser ProPak via Python scripting. As to replicating GEAR's Poser to Bryce porting, my experience has taught me that most "clever" people are not nearly as clever or original as they have fooled themselves into believing that they are. His project does sound feasible to me. How about some other PC programmer out there? I can smell a big financial opportunity here! Did I read somewhere that there are 60,000 Poser users out there? Or am I way out of synch on that? Gear: If you don't want to sell or otherwise share your "program", nor post the results of your renders, then why bother posting anything about it in the first place? I hope this isn't some knd of prank. And the PC bashing is so-o sophmorhic and tiresome. PLEEEASE!!
