Yah. I work in tif/psd up until the final save-for-export. Then, because of file size restrictions et al, I go for somewhere around 6 or 7 on PhotoShop's scale. That translates to huge savings and not too many compression artifacts. What I meant about re-saving purchased texture maps as JPEGS after reducing them in size -- they came as JPEG and I'm lazy enough to keep them in JPEG, re-compression artifacts be damned. It just makes it easier for me to find them. And after all, the only reason I'm reducing is that 2048x2048 for eyelashes is just a waste of RAM for most of my renders. At 1024 it's still wasted RAM, but at that point it's RAM I have...
