you need to set your eyes on the P5 and P6 Face Rooms! making Textures, with UV Maps, by hand is very possible, but even more difficult, especially where this is what the face room is for, it takes your photos, cuts them up stretches them out, and makes a texture for yo7ur P5 or P6 character! If thats not enough then make a few of them this way and then haul them all into photoshop, and set each to its own layer. Then you can composite to one very realistic texture. Note, the P5 Woman(Judy) has the same map as V2. To make a tex. for V3, make a V2 and use DAZ's Universal Texture Creator. Else, if you want to do this from scratch, just for a taste, all you'll need is a good(Color coded/Labled) UV Map. But if you get stuck finding one, or want to make even that from scratch use the free tool UVMapper(I think at uvmapper.com) = )
