Quote - I get a picture of something in my mind and I just go after it until I create it.
That's exactly what happens with me. I see the finished product in my head and then set about trying to recreate what I see on paper or computer. If I don't see it in my head first there is nothing that I can do to force myself to create. It's either there or it isn't. That's how I write too. An entire poem or short story pops into my head and basically I just sit down and type it like it's dictation. I can't just sit and decide to "create". I have to be inspired by something that gives me that idea to work from.
"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
