OK, here is what I have come up with. I made a new camera "P-Cam". The camera has a built in animation. By stepping through the animation you can try out diffrent positions for the camera, when you find one you like render the image.

P-Cam is parented to a smart prop named "Target", this will automaticly parent itself to the head of the currently selected figure when P-Cam is loaded. The Target is in the form of crosshairs these will not be visible once the image is rendered. The position of the Target is optimised for V2, for other figures change its yTranslation so that it is level with the eyes.

"PCam.zip" is not an automatic install, you will need to manually extract the files to a sub-filder of your Props folder.

To use P-Cam; in Poser select a figure in your scene, load P-Cam from the props pallet, when prompted to add frames answer "Yes". From the Props menu select "Ttarget_1" and yTran it untill it is level with the eyes. Now open the Animation Pallet and use the "Step Forward" button to cycle through the various camera views. When you find one you like render the image. The Target's crosshairs will not show in the rendered image, but if you find them annoying in preview you can hide them (Objact > Properties > Visible).

Because of the parenting arrangements with P-Cam, it will always give you the same view of the head no matter how the head is posed. If you want to change the overall orientation of the camera you should do this by rotating the Target_1 prop.

The files have only been tested in P4, but should work in P5, and will probably work in P6 as well.
