Lessee, now... Sex started out several million years ago, and rapidly attracted a lot of adherents. Art started out several centuries ago, and slowly attracted some adherents, usually from the more well-off clients. Art has been trying to show itself to be better than Sex ever since, by shouting louder... It hasn't worked.
