Sorry I am simply late in reading this post. I also have this problem but it appears only with some conforming figures when you use the fit to option. As soon as you reload a scenes saved the scaling of the conforming objects a doubled. To correct this you will have to rescale the % of all the conforming figure to the % used by the main figure (in your case V3) by hand. I know it is painful but I did not find any other way doing it.
