wow, a lot of think asked... only one question : have you try a comparision from the price of cinema4d (with the modules needed for your request) and Vue5 ? i think if vue6 will be 3rd part integrated (like vray engine, etc) and all others features, the price will start for the moon... but maybe this is not a problem.... not for me, my wife is a rich woman !! ;)
