Cinema is on my wishlist, LMcLean, I just love it, playing with the 9.5 demo now! Vue renders can look a lot better (less harsh) if you apply a very slight gaussian blur in postwork. About shadows, I like Vue's soft shadow maps, but they don't fit for the sun, so what I do is reduce shadows to around 70-75%, so I don't need to go over the board with softness, 3% is enough then, and renders (a bit) faster.
