"I did notice that when I selected the "morphed" top and added it to the scene when the window pops open to have me find the OBJ and I selected cancel there is something listed as "Top" but there is not an untextured item showing. " That happens when an obj isn't found. Before you get more frustrated I would strongly suggest checking the cr2 for where the obj should be.
