bruno021, I think you will really like Cinema 4D the more you use it. I was looking at 3DS Max and Maya but settled on Cinema 4D because it's GUI was so much easier to understand and use. I still may look at Maya or 3DS Max in the future though but for now Cinema can do most everything that Maya and Max can do at 1/3 to 1/2 the price. Singular3D, Sure Carrera is another option. I think Carerra has come a long way since it's Ray Dream days. I was not suggesting Vue compete against Cinema if I understand you correctly. Vue and Cinema do totally different things and their strengths lie in different areas. I agree with you Vue needs to do a lot of work, but I just hope they focus the work in the most needed areas. Peggy, I would also like XStream, but I don't think I want to pay that much just so I can render a better Vue Scene. I think E-on has made a mistake going this route. IMO why not just improve the renderer in Vue or allow Vue to render using 3rd party renderer so everyone can get good renders not just those with Maya, Max etc.
