Diversity drives my purchases, actually. I look at the figure meshes as actors to animate with. I can either use one actor, and spend a lot of time in wardrobe and makeup insuring that viewers don't say 'Hey, that's the same guy/gal!', or use a different actor. Between Wardrobe Wizard and dynamic cloth, quite a few of the so called 'dead' figures are quite useable now.
