Hi thefixer, We've been thinking about a large Renderosity gathering for quite some time. As we all know, there are some key challenges to such an event. Basic logistics like location and date have been an issue in past discussions, with members becoming rather divisive over where and when to meet. Unfortunately, there is simply no possible way to make a single gathering that is centrally located for all our members and having mutliple events is not an option at this time. If we are to have a get-together, there needs to be the understanding that it may not be a perfect fit for each member's individual schedule and location. With or without a Renderosity gathering, we still have the option of meeting at Siggraph in Boston this year, as well as having members continue to set up local area face-to-face gatherings. We love to reading news of any local area gatherings. Please feel free to post the details and afterwards the pictures of these events with the rest of the community of .
