I have never complained about Poserworld being slow, nor was I complaining about paying. And I apologize for not prefacing the thing I pasted, I can see where someone might think I was trying to be mean and stir things around. That was NEVER my intention. I have not really seen anyone complaining about poserworld charging, just that we may not be there because we may not have the money. Maybe I need to have my daughter give me the name of the company she is with, she gets unlimited bandwidth for $200 a year. Granted she only gets 500 megs, but I'm sure they have deals for more bandwidth. Here is what puzzles me about the downloader thing. If I pay whatever it is that you ask per month, why couldn't I still take a downloader in and take everything from the site? I have no weird underlying agenda, I'm just trying to understand why everyone would be invited to go with that company and then have this happen. I honestly am not a mean-spirited person, I'm just trying to understand some things. No one is faulting anyone here, and I'm personally surprised you guys were trying to carry this thing for so long by yourselves. I think when you say to most communities...I can't carry this load...more than a few will not only offer to take the weight from your shoulders, but will just do it quietly and you will feel relief and comradeship. There are so many people from ALL of the sites that are so talented, I would hate to see any site go down, free stuffage or not. It's just sad to see beauty fade. I think in this dot com shakeup it's going to happen a lot, but we shouldn't let it affect us like this, to put us at each other's throats. Let's pull together and work on the raft before it hits the rapids. I was mainly shocked by the closure and the letter because I thought poserworld was a regular business venture and was leasing out space to everyone. It kind of looks like a mall when you go in. I thought it was kind of cool to go to one place and find so many different "stores" to hang out in, free or not. 8^) I know there is a way to work this out so that most people are satisfied...course, as my mother used to say you can't please everyone so do the best with what you have and don't be afraid to stretch it a little thin sometimes. I pretty much honestly like everyone here. Think of this as a big drop of water in a pond. The ripples go away from the center at the first shock of the hit, but it eventually settles back in. This is going to work out one way or another, I'm not going to stress myself out about it, I will sit and wait until I'm asked to help. As I said before good luck to you.
