Let me explain in a little more depth... If someone leaves a comment, it more or less signifies that they are interested or moved in some way enough to bother. By that token, the majority of comments you'll get will be praise. OTOH, there are some people who find it impossible to say anything "critical" for one reason or another. The dilemma is simple: Should I leave a comment on the content or the execution of the image, or both? Most of my comments in this case would not fall into the "helpful" category, anyhow, so you would have a false impression if I were to praise the things I like about it. The best thing you can do is try to find someone you respect, who knows what they are talking about, to look at your images objectively. I'm fortunate in that there are a few people I can count on to give me the absolute truth. Anyhow, just keep posting and see what reactions you get. Then go an do your own thing anyhow. That's what I always do.
