hi there! many add. clothes or objects are in dxf, 3ds, or other formats. how can i bind those files to poser-figures?? do i have to convert the files first to obj-files?? and, in which folder do i have to place them? or do i have to import the m simply??

Import them, simply. Then they will work the same way as Props do; however they will not be as pose-able as props or figures made specifically for poser. Hope this helps? Radart.

what about the "Inherit parent bends" (I believe that's what its called. I'm at work right now) option. I haven't used it yet, but I recall from the manual that a static prop will bend with the figure it's parented too. I doubt that these static clothes will conform since it's not a figure. Tina

I believe you're talking about creating Conformable Clothing. In that case, you'll first have to convert them to Wavefront OBJ Format, and break them up into parts, then create an HEIR file for them (PHI builder a must), with IK Chains etc... It's a difficult process, but is very rewarding...
