Sackrat: Thanks for the good wishes! Bikermouse: Celeron 2.2ghz. It's not the fastest but it gets me along ok. I'm using a 160gb hdd SATA as a backup and took onboard what everyone sez about mirrors and imaging. When my hdd became unstable and started to die I backedup everything and the only thing I lost was my favourite lists on AOL. As for price, the samsung cost me 110. in PC World's no-frills section. Buggered if I'm gonna pay 30 ontop for packaging. So maybe I'd have preffered a WD or Maxtor, but when you're on a budget....... Thanks for the heads-up though.....;-)
