well good news is the material room has a "simple" mode so if the nodes scare you, you can use this mode that.... from what i understand.... is very similar to p4. Dynamic hair and clothing is picking up pretty slow so you probably dont need to worry too much about jumping on that bandwaggon right away... besides from what i understand of dynamic clothing. it is much easier to make than conforming clothing. With the upcomming release of P7 (rumored to be released this year but not "soon") the jump will only get bigger. P4 and P6 can co-exist so if you dont want to make the complete jump you can still hang onto 4. Jessi has a bit of a following but Miki seems to have surpassed her.
