I am unable to point you to a source right now but if you can find a program called Deep Exploration and download it, you will find that it uses a plugin called 3ds Max DCOM that you must have access to, usually by also having 3ds Max, to load a MAX scene or file.With Deep Exploration you can then save it out to a number of different formats including Cob, 3ds, LWO, Obj, etc. that can be loaded into Bryce. If you only use 3ds Max it wants to only save into its own Max format. Hope I didn't confuse you, here.
