Well, for those that haven't gotten their newsletter yet (I would bet it has to do with your mail folks--mine just came this morning), here's the quote from the newsletter. I can't imagine the DAZ folks will mind. <<And... Our most KILLER news of the day..... Get Ready...She's coming.....VICTORIA 2.... Victoria 2 will be able to wear any clothing designed to fit the P4 female clothing as well as all the clothing items designed for Victoria 1. Fully equipped with dozens of new morphs (for head, breast, full_body, muscle and joint correction, and more), this will be the most versatile Vicky ever!! Also get ready for new clothing and next generation maps for this soon to come product. There will be a special upgrade pricing for those who've purchased Victoria 1.. Visit the site for details and see some preview images that will be up early the first week in April. Personally, I don't feel they have to give us free upgrades on a continuing basis. Vicky is as she is--for those who don't like her, I would say don't buy her. I like her a lot--others don't. Quite frankly, I haven't understood folks being upset with her 'out of the box' looks. I consider that she is clay to be molded and so many have done such wonderful things with her it seems that the model has lived up to her cost. I guess others don't think so. I will wait and see if Vic2 is worth what they will charge--for ME. It seems as though Daz is doing what so many have asked--but I can't imagine why anyone would think they would do it for free--as an upgrade to Vic (they have said all along that the P4 clothing won't fit Vic1). When someone asks me to design and execute a piece for them, I don't do it for free--even if they own other pieces by me. As Daz said, there is a special upgrade price for those of us that already have Vic. That's how software upgrades work and we are used to that. I don't see this as any different. Not trying to aggravate anyone here, but having been involved in small design businesses for years, one just has to be realistic about charges--and I've found Daz to be pretty reasonable overall. Now, there are some things I don't care for much--I don't really care for the new upsweep hair, for instance. That's personal taste too--so I won't buy it. I say--let's wait until April 1 and see what they are offering. (BTW, what I would REALLY love to have is Anton's and Symphony's new paks from DAZ, but have to wait on that too for the moment S).
