It was stated that they were trying to have it ready for the CP content disk. If it was delayed, they would send out the disk and have the figure ready at a later date. Which is late in it self. Maybe the question should be, "when is the CP disk being released?"

What kind of figure is it? A human? Man or woman? This is the first time I read about a new figure.. (I have not enough time to read all the forum postings daily)

the only other thing i have heard is that it is NOT anton's (maker of apollo maximus) female figure Venus.

The new model will be a Female, that has been alluded to in the CP Forums. As TP says, it will not be a Venus for ApolloMax. Anton has said that she may not be around until Poser 8. After reading BigFoot's Post, I probably wouldn't expect to see the CD or the new Female character until April. Why, because BigFoot's post says that all Passport members up until March 31st will be entitiled to the CD. Yeah or Nay, the new Female Figure will be on the CD. That's just my 2 cents worth though. Yes, I also thought it was going to be released yesterday. (It was hinted to be close to the equinox.) Disappointing, but........ You can't blame them for taking their time and doing it right. Even Miki came out with a whole host of niggly buggettes, some of them being very hard to fix now. (E.g. excessively high resolution eyeballs.) Even worse was Jessie. Her joints were fixed in Glam Jessie, which is in many areas incompatible with the original, which sort of holds both figures back. (Same as P5 Judy and EJ.) Once third parties release clothes, morphs and textures you can't really screw around with joints, poly count and UV mapping any more. Much better get it right from the start.

Did you ever realize that Kates ( P6-Girl) joint-parameters are completely mmessed up, her fingers crumble when you bend them....

I have tried all day to get the weekly freebie and all I get is "unavailable or temporarily disabled", and this is what I get on all the freebies. However if I attempt to purchase anything that page displays very quickly. I think that I will not be purchasing or getting a freebie from this company. Scorpio

@ Tyger purr. I hope you realize I was joking. No offence ment. In earlier threads at CP it was hinted as the disk would be around end of Feb/early March. There was no cut off date, I think this stuff was being hashed out at the time. So with the March 31 date I would agree it's April for the disk. In any case, It will be interesting to see what eF's version of New Standard in Figures is. I can't wait to see, well I guess we have to wait, but you know what I mean. Xen/Slochez. Be very careful with what you say about the figures. There are certain persons in this community that will feel the need to attack you and tell you should keep your mouth shut and be greatful for the poor workmanship.
