l use the canon L glass 10Omm 2.8f..usm macro lens .. see an example on homepage.. the hoover fly..!!!.. canon lenses are naturally very sharp and geometrically accurate across all iris and zoom range. additionally they are classed leading in ability to control internal lense light reflection, ie flare, maintaining a ink black quality. This helps the 3 diamensional look of the captured image giving minimizing post electronic sharping and black control.. l cant talk for other makes.. hope this helps .. now l have work to do..hehehehe !!!!...
