Hi All, I just purchased and downloaded "Total Hair" yesterday, but in my library all I see are 4 Bald-headed women? When I click onto any of them, I do get the hair on my Poser model, but I am confused as to why they are bald in the preview? Also, 3 other library files were created when I downloaded this, but all are blank so I don't know what they are or what they are supposed to do? Any information, suggestions, what-ever would be greatly appreciated. Genny

Don't have the hair, but my guess about the bald thumbnails: If the file was saved into the library with the transparency settings on, only a fine mesh of dots will show where the hair is, not the full textured hair. If you look very closely, you may be able to see the dots in the thumbnails. Some people get around this by making a rendering of the figure with hair, pasting it into the background, and saving the file into the library again with the figure off screen. This does not work with the ProPack. You can also just save with transparency off, to have a (very) rough reminder of what the hair looks like. Do the "empty" three libraries correspond to the names of subfolders? If they contain texture, transmap and light files, guess they would not show up as files you can load directly into Poser. But the texture and transmaps are probably loaded into your figure OK, if they render properly. HTH

The hair doesn't show up because it has the transparency set up on it. You should have two that are skull caps, one for Vickie one for Posette, and two that look bald but will show up when you pull it in on the model and render. You will notice that even if you have the hair on the model and then save the model you will not see the hair in the thumbnail. If you want to see the hair, pull it in, set all the trans to 0 and then save the model in the thumbs under a different name, then you will see the hair. 8^) Your files are fine. Load one of the skull caps and you will see that this is just a real short hairstyle, used under the hair. I sometimes use them alone, some clients like the slicked back look. Marque

Another solution is to set the display mode of objects containing transparencies to "Cartoon w/Lines". Go to Display then Element Style to do this. It will have the added benefit that you can see the object in the document window prior to rendering.
