Interest in anthropomorphic characters, "furries", has gained public notoriety since journalists have recently focused upon the more extreme, fringe aficionados. Like any interest, it can run the gamut, ranging from mild curiosity with "funny talking animals" to performing actions that could be classified as "cruelty to animals" (to put it delicately). Fortunately, most fans know where to draw the line. Poser, and certainly the "higher end" digital art programs, can now allow someone to visualize a level of "believability" in such mythical beings not obtainable a mere decade ago. How far to carry the fantasy is, of course, left to the discretion (or indiscretion) of the individual. Linked is a relatively mild example in my gallery. I have clicked the "nudity" alert" in case certain potential viewers are uncomfortable with characters sporting little more than fur. Sincerely, Bill
