If you want to see examples of really bad slash (and other things..;) go to 'the Godawful Star Trek Fanfic' site (I think that's the name, but throw in enough key words, and Google will find it..;)It's more fun for the scathing reviews than the actual fanfic..;)
I don't really go for the slash stuff, but sometimes there's almost-good stories out there about other subject (pakled's rule; the more chapters a fanfic story has, the more likely it's some sort of specific kink..;), depending on whatever you might be interested in..;)
It's bad enough being a macromasophile..;) (a common disorder, but a cure has yet to be found..please give generously..;)
