Be grateful... this started as a long winded explanation... I tend to do that. An illegal address call is when the program tries to make use of an address that it isn't allowed to. kind of like a three year old being told TO write on the walls... you get, "But I'm not supposed to." If a program tries to make use of, say, the system ROM, to write to, it'll stop it. also, sometimes... long ago.... a program might be told to use RAM that was "Way out in left field".... because someone added an extra digit, by accident. THAT one would either send the sys off to la la land, or just crash. On the other side, how much ram do you have on your system, and how much have you allotted to Windows? This can also provoke that error. Lou.
