I think these days it is the "A" that is emphasized. Mac is now meaning more just a "playa", a suave fellow with the juice. Pimping now means to maximize the bling. "On Mother's day I pimped out my Mom's old Mazda and now her ride looks total mac daddy. My mams is one sure playa, word. She be representing!" I thought you were referring to the all too common literary motif of grown men suckling, a thing I think I first encountered in a story by Guy de Maupassant, a man I believe reputed to be cursed with priapism.
