This way it can be assembled in various ways to give more versatility and to eliminate the need to have it made for one particular hair type. Unfortunately he's extremely busy and doesn't know when or if he will be able to get to it. What are your thoughts on it being modelled in pieces? If it has to be made for one particular hair, I'd have to give it some thought. There are a number that I really like, but not all are "elf-like".
