A few very minor additions (not Vue 6 material, more like a service release): In the world browser right-click menu: - a Rename option - a Delete option. Fixup of Poser materials upon import. Shader tree support would be wonderful (but tough to do), I'd settle for correctly importing highlights and reflections. Ability to import a single frame fron a Poser animation containing dynamic hair. Keep "collapse identical materials" setting upon reimport of a linked Poser scene Better default settings for the renderer (less grain). Fix up the scaling in ecosystems (right now an eco'ed object is half the size the same object outside an ecosystem) None of this calls for a new Vue release - it should be in the next service release. For the next Vue release I'd love to see: - 64 bit support - large memory support - faster preview response in complicated scenes - mesh smoothing - displacement mapping - Material zones like in Poser, 3D Max, and many other 3D apps - controllable ambient occlusion (in object/material properties) - HyperVue support for rendering stills to disk - Full material support (glow, Hybrid 2.5 D) when rendering to disk - More options for roots, trunks and branches in SolidGrowth plants. - Dynamic water would be fantastic indeed.
