Raher than scraping the pic....here is a suggestion that might be workable for you(sounds like your scene is massive). 1. Re-open the the scene & delete 1 item at a time(preferably starting in the front - that way easier to add in postwork). Then try & render. Repeat this till it renders fully. Make sure you do a save as before deleting so you don't have to go back & reposition. Hope that makes sense.
