I think BW means that someone else may have linked to his site without authorization...or just created a direct hyperlink to the download offered on his site, thereby allowing others to download HIS freebie from THEIR site... You know, as if they were hosting HIS freebie on THEIR site (as you probably know, many vendors offer freebies on their sites as a means of driving traffic to them).
