Um sorry to be dim (not) but the golden mean has nothing what so ever to do with photography, it is primarily used in classical architecture to give visual balance to a building. Are you sure you meant the Golden Mean and not the Rule of Thirds? If I am wrong which I don't beleave I am in this regard then that is the way it is I really do not have time to get into long winded debates over this, I have said what I want to on this matter and thats it.
