Hi, Overall I'm pleased with Vue 5INF- would like to see a few additions- Sub Surface Scattering, larger control handles for rotating and moving objects. Also I'd like to see the PARTIAL handling of High Dynamic Range Images addressed. "Real" handling of HDRI images. It seems that Vue opens the Image.hdr file-and converts it to 24 bit. When I adjust the brightness and contrast of the image-it fades rather than getting brighter- and no adjustment can bring the dark areas of the image to visibility. It is those Intense contrasts which help make HDRI lighting so realistic! Recall that an HDR image is much like a "pile of photos" each with a different exposure-and each exposure should be accessible. In Vue it appears to be ONe average exposure blended from the 96 bit .hdr into a 24 bit image. The result? A less realistic hdr render! A fully High Dynamic Range Image-is just that! I'll make some comparison renders against a program that keeps the High Dynamic Range Image intact as 96 bit
