When my cable company is actually working...yeah, I get speed issues here. I know part of it is from balancing the server out, but mostly from trying to kill bugs while the program is running, lol. There have bene some bug-fixing scripts running. "blinking avatars, smileys and other fairly pointless features" -I tell ya, I was against the idea of avatars, and signatures and such. I want fast over pretty, every time. Uh...in my forums, not my women. (just in case my girlfriend is reading this....) I hope it doesn't get to that bad here either. I'm assuming that having these things are easier/faster to deal with as far as the new PHP server is concerned, or they wouldn't have allowed them. But I agree, I don't really want to have to look past a forum choked with x-mas lights to read about Bryce. But, I could never leave my home either.
