Hi folks!I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying this lovely Sunday. Well it's Simone time again. This is something I've always wanted to do...Visual Puns/Wordplay.What that means is,an image that somehow is a play on words...for instance,a shot of a clock in midair could be 'time flies'...or a bunch of grapes next to a wine bottle could be 'Grape Expectations'...the word 'Hi' written on a hog is 'Hi on the hog',etc... It was Richard,(Onslow) who gave me the idea for this with his wonderful and witty image,'Alexander the Grape',that I have linked to. For more inspiration you can also check out ...http://www.badpuns.com/ Any way, hope you have fun with this.I'm not going to tell y'all what my pun is.I think it would also be fun to guess what it is!It should be pretty easy.(Sorry it's not nearly as good a pic as I'd like but I wanted to get something up here before Sunday was over, lol.) Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with! ___________________________________________________________ "Why isn't 'phonetic' spelled like it sounds?"

Wow, what a great idea for a Simone Marlene :m_thumbu: , and what neat entries! Unfortunately, mine photo doesn't quite stack up, but it is the best I could manage in what time I have available. I thought of two possible visual puns for this; "Like Mother, Like Daughter" or "Mother Goose". Okay, okay, don't groan TOO loudly. :m_tongue2:

Like...baggage I no longer need...Hidden baggage...Old baggage....

I wonder if someone else will come up with something for this.

Thanks for playing along,Carlos.Your photo has a lovely  poetic quality.Boa noite!

End of the Line - works for me too :)

Brilliant Carlos the shot  illustrates the saying in a unique and novel way.

Superbly done ! As are all the entries in what is quite a challenging simon because it shows to me how much difference there is in all the little nuisances of the languages we use.  English is not the same from one part to another let alone working from a different language. A person living in the North of England would certainly have different puns to someone living in the South  so to do this worldwide is an achievement !
