Out of curiousity, do you have the psicon.dll in your C:Program FilesCommon FilesAdobeShell ? Just wondering if some other Adobe software installed it. It still is possible that certain versions of CS2 has included the .dll. That link was from beginning of January 2005 regarding CS vs older versions. Actually, I use an older version (the last fast loading version) of ACDSee to view all my file types including my .psd files and leave my windows folders set to icons rather than thumbnails.
