But when they get replied to again, they go to the top of the list again... as it should be.
Just like if you find a thread from back in 2000 and make a post, that thread then goes to the top of the list because there is a new post in it.
If it was "sort by date of post", you would have to look through dozens of pages, or have a bookmark to find that thread to read that new post.
Sort by Last Reply = Any thread that gets posted in gets move to the top of the list regardless of when the thread was created.
Sort by Post Date = Leaves the thread in it's original place regardless of whether there is a new post in it or not.
