Subject: Whatever happened to stuff like this?

I've downloaded the demo, and from initial impressions - excellent!  I'm glad I asked about this.

I'm not really a gamer myself - but the lure of being able to walk-about environments that 'you' have created has always grabbed my attention.  I'll be buying a copy on my next trip into town, that's for sure (At £30 it's a must-have).

It's gonna be good to make different use of some Bryce renders for walls etc - and the way the lighting works, means I'd be able to create some 'baked' environments in Bryce using TA, then import them to walk around in real-time.

Looks really good - grab the demo - can't hurt, and I reckon you'll be glad you did.

Robert, yup, there were a few versions I think (Amiga, Atari, C64, Spectrum).  I use to own the Amiga AND C64 versions, but the C64 version wasn't much good on such a low-spec machine.

Thanks for the links, I'll be sure to check those out after I've played with this one a little more.  I only hope it's not heavily code-driven as opposed to an interface.
