Well if he were to be declared an acoholic, mentally ill (any form), or get this, ILLITERATE, he would be on the payroll very quickly. In my experience it always seems as though the able bodied get the social security sooner than those who are not. A good friend of mine was on the list for 8 years with a bad heart, artritis, and another condition that I can't pronounce or spell. He got a letter saying he was accepted then died of a heart attack a week later. He never got a dime (his family didn't even get the back pay to help cover funeral costs) He was homeless (sleeping on his niece's dining room floor) he owned 3 pairs of underwear, 2 shirts a pair of pants, shorts, and shoes. That's all, and would not accept anything from anyone because the government owed him. I also know a number of people in the twenties (I can count at least 4 of them) who are now collecting social security, having children & collecting welfare as well, after not having worked a day in their life! The whole system is screwed if a truly disabled person cannot be taken care of, but freeloaders can ride the system like a pony.
