Rita, did you by chance create a water plane so far above the ground plane that the tree is below the water level? Vue plants will "grow" on the ground plane, after all. Well, actually this is just a guess, and I never add water to a scene until I have all the other elements in place, so I really can't say for sure that a tree or plant won't "grow" on water--- just an idea.... ............
