It's an often asked question but I guess it's still a valid one.

Human nature, I would suggest.  There are so many images that people see them in an eyeblink and go "oh yeah" and move on.  If I commented on every pic I viewed I wouldn't have time for anything else.  As it is, I don't visit the galleries as often as I would like.

There are several artists whom I try to make a point of viewing and commenting on but that sometimes has to go by the board when time is pressing.

Another take is that sometimes, there really is nothing to say to a pic.
