the comment text explicitly asks for helpful comments, and i only comment if i have something useful to say, and am fairly certain the poster is interested in constructive criticism. the second part is what kills most of my comments before they get written, because in general people don't seem interested in that, almost all comments are gushing, and critique gets often jumped on by the poster's friends. i wish there were a specific gallery or forum, or even just a flag for people who want to receive critiques. as it stands, i comment only if people specifically state that they want critiques in order to improve.
